Introducing Google’s Elevator Mentor Program

Active Web Group Joins Google's 2017 Elevator Program

In 2017 Google rolled out its prestigious Elevator business accelerator program in the United States. Launched in the United Kingdom last year, the program is by invitation only, and provides participants with digital marketing business coaching to ensure their firms remain relevant.

The leadership at forty digital agencies across the country were invited to participate. Criteria for this distinction included demonstrated current high performance for their clients, and the potential for continued growth at a rapid pace. The goal for Elevator is just that, to equip digital agency leaders with the enhanced skill set that will enable them to deliver more for their clients. Through Elevator, participants are expected to guide their clients’ businesses to achieve “next level” status. One-On-One Individualized Coaching.

Elevator kicked off this year at several major cities, including one held in New York City. In an overview, digital agency executives received training in strategic planning, networking, and other business methodologies. In addition, each participant was paired with a mentor who, for several months, will provide individualized one-on-one coaching. Active Web Group, a full-service digital agency headquartered in Hauppauge, New York was one of the agencies selected to participate in Google Elevator. “Through Google’s mentorship program, AWG has gained additional insight and knowledge in several management disciplines,” notes Michele Gray, Chief Operating Officer, Active Web Group. “We will leverage this new information to serve our clients well, and to maintain our competitive edge.” Active Web Group provides success-driven solutions to online businesses in a wide range of industries.
